Our mission

To collaborate with rural landowners, farming families, mental health organisations, agricultural contractors, and advisors to raise awareness, reduce stigma, and promote access to services that support mental health and wellbeing.

Commitments

Support Mental Health

Equip farming families and those working in the agricultural industry with tools and resources to prioritise their mental health and wellbeing.

Raise Awareness

Use our convening power to foster open conversations and reduce stigma around mental health and wellbeing.

Drive Change

Drive initiatives that embed mental health as a core priority in the agricultural sector.

Work with farming families, rural landowners, mental health organisations, agricultural contractors, agricultural advisors and all those working in the agricultural industry, to signpost to those organisations that can provide support.

Promote Collaboration

The farming community is under significant strain due to a combination of commercial and social pressures. Factors such as adverse weather conditions, poor harvest results from last summer, political uncertainty, and rising costs have exacerbated the challenges faced by farmers and their families.

Commercial & Social Pressures

Why?

Recent surveys reveal that farmers are experiencing deteriorating mental health, with business confidence at an all-time low. These findings suggest that a growing number of farmers are likely to face increased mental health issues, which will inevitably impact the health and wellbeing of farmers and their families. The agricultural sector must address these concerns promptly to ensure the well-being and sustainability of farming communities.
